The 2022 Winter Olympic Games kick off today in Beijing, and the Politecnico participates with the project of the Visitor Center for the Shougang site
The project was supervised by a team of researchers from the Department of Architecture and Design, redeveloping a former industrial area, thanks to the long relationship between the Politecnico and Tsinghua University
The University has designed one of the sites of the Winter Olympics in China, dubbed "the Dora Park of Shougang" to recall the industrial reclamation on the banks of the river Dora. It will be a sustainable project with "zero ground consumption”
