The IAHR Europe Congress, the most important European congress on water issues, is now at its sixth edition, coordinated by the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR), an independent world organization of engineers and water specialists working in fields related to the hydro-environmental sciences and their practical application. This edition was held online with the aim of “Understanding and protecting water resources” and with the motto “No frame, no borders”.

With the study entitled “An integrated methodology for the riparian vegetation modelling”, Melissa Latella won the second place of the “IAHR Gerhard Jirka Award for Young Researchers”, established in memory of Prof. Gerhard Jirka to award the best presentation given by a Young Professional under 35 during the congress.
